Sans Air Purifier Setup GuideUpdated 2 hours ago
Setup takes just a few minutes. Start by finding your model below, then follow the guide for that size.
- Sans Air Purifier (large): The filter sits behind a rear panel.
- Sans Air Purifier Mini: The filter sits behind a twist-lock base panel on the bottom of the unit.
Once you’re set up, the control panel guide at the bottom applies to both.

- Tap the fan icon to cycle through the settings until you reach auto mode. This allows hands-free, 24/7 operation.

Getting to know your control panel (both models)
Sans uses Smart Pure technology, which senses the air quality in your space and adjusts filtration power accordingly, so you don’t have to think about it. Here’s what each part of the top control panel does:
- Fan speed button: Cycles through fan speed options. Auto mode is the recommended default, and Sans adjusts fan speed based on real-time air quality readings. You can also switch to manual control with low, medium, and high settings.
- Magnifying glass icon: Tap to cycle through the three air quality readings on the display. Switching the display doesn’t change what’s being filtered.
- Timer button: Tap to cycle through 2, 4, or 8 hours before the purifier shuts off automatically. Use this if you don’t want 24/7 operation.
- UV light button: Tap to turn the internal UVC light on or off. When it’s on, the LED above the button lights up. The UVC light is internal and not visible from the outside.
- Filter replacement LED: The LED above the UV button flashes red when it’s time to replace your filter.
